Welcome to J Street Colorado
We come together as Colorado Jews and allies promoting peace, security, and democracy in Israel. We take a positive approach, affirming the need for a two-state solution to guarantee a brighter future for Israelis and Palestinians alike. We are helping to build a broad and inclusive campaign that crosses ethnic and religious lines and in which American Jews play a prominent role.
We give voice to our ideals at the local level by:
• facilitating and participating in respectful, vibrant, community conversations about Israel
• reaching out to Jewish community organizations and synagogues
• hosting educational events in our communities
• supporting the engagement of students in J Street U
• supporting local rabbis’ participation in J Street’s 1,000-strong Rabbinic Network
• forming local advocacy committees to share information and meet with our elected officials
• engaging with local media to convey the diversity of the Jewish community
Mission: J Street Colorado is your local home for pro-Israel, pro-peace activism.

More than 50 Front Range citizens from a variety of religious and political backgrounds gathered in Westminster tonight to launch J Street Colorado, the local chapter of the nation’s largest pro-Israel, pro-peace organization. The local event was one of more than 20 held the same night across the nation to roll out J Street Local, the grassroots arm of the predominantly Jewish political advocacy group. “
J Street supports vigorous U.S. action to promote a two-state solution: an independent and secure Palestinian state living in peace alongside an equally secure state of Israel as a democratic national home for the Jewish people,” said Les Canges, chair of J Street Colorado. Read more...
